Hemerocallis 'Just Plum Happy'

Daylily
  • Summary
  • Additional Details

Looking for a mauve pink daylily that blooms all summer? Much like Stella, this daylily starts blooming early midseason and then repeats its bloom all the way into early fall. The 4.5 inch flowers are mauve pink with a plum purple eye and matching narrow picotee edge. They are of good substance and the ruffled petals are nicely recurved. This plant forms a substantial clump in the landscape and produces several scapes per fan. Each 3-way branched scape carries about 15 buds, providing loads of blossoms all summer long.

Daylilies can survive many harsh conditions that other plants cannot including: polluted city environments, slopes, poor and dry soils, near pavement that is salted in winter, and under Black Walnut trees (not affected by juglone).
